Workshop Trainee Funding
The competition for funding is now closed. Ten teams have been awarded the training opportunity.
The PAY IT FORWARD project will fund up to 6 teams in 2011 to develop new workshops to advance women and other underrepresented minorities in STEM academia. The teams need to apply for funding by February 1st, 2011. Up to $10,000 is available per team for participant support costs for the first year workshop in 2012. Upon successful completion of the first year workshop, an additional $5,000 may be available for a second round of the workshop in 2013 with some fine-tuning at that time. A first cohort of up to 4 teams were awarded funds for a 2011 workshop with a 2012 fine-tuning.

The deadline for applications is March 1st, 2011 but please apply as early as possible as we have been overbooked each year. You will be notified of acceptance on or about April 1st, 2011 if not before. If necessary, we will maintain a waiting list.
