The competition for funding is now closed. Ten teams have been awarded the training opportunity.

The PAY IT FORWARD project will fund up to 6 teams in 2011 to develop new workshops to advance women and other underrepresented minorities in STEM academia. The teams need to apply for funding by February 1st, 2011. Up to $10,000 is available per team for participant support costs for the first year workshop in 2012. Upon successful completion of the first year workshop, an additional $5,000 may be available for a second round of the workshop in 2013 with some fine-tuning at that time. A first cohort of up to 4 teams were awarded funds for a 2011 workshop with a 2012 fine-tuning.
