My primary research area is
computer graphics. During my graduate study in Seoul National University,
I have been concentrating on volume rendering, virtual endoscopy
and ultrasound simulators. In my doctoral study in George Washington
University, my research interests have been broadened to image based
modeling and rendering, computer animation, global illumination
for infrared target simulation, medical simulations, GPU based volume
redering, computational photography, camera calibration, 3D reconstrution,
structured light based surface scanning, feature tracking, optical
flow, image processing, image guided surgery, medical image registration,
numerical optimizations and etc. |
