Meal Plans

All resident students with less than 90 semester hours are required to participate in a meal plan. Resident freshmen must select from plans 1 and 2. Resident sophomores must select from plans 1, 2, 3, or 4. Resident juniors may select from any of the 6 plans. Resident juniors for the Fall semester who remain in residence for the Spring semester are required to be on a meal plan even if they reach senior status. Students who have participated in a GW contract for six (6) semesters will be exempt from this requirement even if they have not earned 90 semester hours.

Resident freshmen and sophomores selecting the Kosher Meal Plan must enroll in Plan 1. Resident juniors choosing the Kosher Meal Plan may select any of the 6 plans.

All residents at The George Washington University at Mount Vernon College are required to be on a meal plan. GW/MVC students may also eat at any student dinning facility on the Foggy Bottom Campus.

All meal plans for the 2000-2001 academic year will feature points-only declining balances. Declining balances allow students the flexibility to purchase meals at their convenience without the restriction of meal zones. The following meal plans will be offered next year:
