Be sure to consider many options and be realistic about your expectations. As a sophomore it may not be wise to count on getting a quad in New Hall. When you visit halls on Open House, be sure to ask what the average student population is in that hall. Statistics change from year to year and populations shift, but be realistic when planning where and with whom you would like to live.
If you are considering a triple, make sure you have a back up plan in case no triples are available when you make your selections. Make sure you understand the on-line process and what the best strategy is for your selection period.
